Volunteers Wanted!

Volunteers are required for the Canadian Automotive Collection and Museum/Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame to fill roles in the museum, the archives and to accompany displays at various motorsport events.

The positions require an interest in one of the many forms of motorsport and a willingness to work to support the objectives of Canada?s most diverse motorsport preservation organization.

What can you gain from this opportunity? For starters, there?s talking to race fans at shows and events, greeting visitors at the museum, raising funds, dusty work with old magazines, lots of scanning and data entry, digging through files to find obscure facts, spending time with people as obsessed with the sport as yourself, learning more about the past than you can believe and making new fans by telling the stories that you have learned while having lots of fun doing it.

Volunteering with us is:

?          Interesting and engaging

?          Challenging

?          Rewarding

But most of all, it?s fun! Being a volunteer is always a labour of love.  For those of us who love motorsport, spending our time around cars, articles and artifacts isn?t work, it?s a joy!

We have opportunities to work either at the Museum near Highway 401 and James Snow Parkway in Milton, or the Archives near York University.
