Any person recognized as a Canadian, who has achieved outstanding and extraordinary success in the sport and who is deceased or retired for at least three years, or been active in the sport for at least 25 years, is eligible for election to become an Honorable Member.

Nominations must be received by April 30 to be valid for the current year's consideration.
